When Emily started planning her wedding, choosing her glam team wasn’t much of a decision at all. She’d been a bridesmaid in several weddings where the KiSSandMaKeUp team was behind the beauty, and every single time, the experience was unforgettable. So when it was finally her turn to say “I do,” there was no question who she’d call.

On her wedding day, Emily worked with Shainna and Adrienne, and by her own words, they exceeded every expectation:

A Love Story, Fifteen Years in the Making

Emily and her husband, Bryant, met in high school and have grown up together ever since. Their relationship weathered seven years of long distance while Bryant attended Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh and Emily studied at Sacred Heart University in Connecticut. Eventually, the two built their life together in Boston.

In a beautifully full-circle moment, Emily and Bryant were married the day after their 15-year anniversary,  a meaningful way to close one chapter and begin the next.

“I’ve known him for half my life, and somehow I love him more with every passing year. He is my best friend, my home, and my forever.”

Their families have grown just as close over the years, close enough that their moms already joke about living together one day. For Emily, having Bryant and his family in her life is something she counts herself endlessly lucky for.

The Vendor Dream Team

Emily’s venue, La Bella Vista, came through with a list of trusted vendor recommendations and that’s how she found Powerstation Events, who handled photography, the photobooth, and the DJ. From helping her choose the perfect DJ to pairing her with two photographers who captured every moment she’d hoped for, the team made the entire process effortless. Emily says she’s in love with how every single photo turned out.

For flowers and décor, Emily and her bridal party took matters into their own hands, literally. They put together all of the florals and decor themselves, just days before the wedding. La Bella Vista then took that vision and executed it flawlessly, bringing it to life in a way that surpassed anything Emily had imagined.
