Our Story:

“Chris and I met in 2012 after being introduced by our younger sisters who were friends. Our bond was instant, and before we knew it, we were in love! Five years later, he proposed to me on a Sunday morning at home. We were so excited about our wedding, and it was everything we had dreamed of! We had the best day celebrating our love with our family and friends. Now, we are living as husband and wife with our two dogs and two cats, and we could not be happier!”

We chose Gustavo after finding him on Instagram. His work was stunning and I felt like his photos captured the most beautiful moments. Once we met him, we felt so comfortable and at ease. Gustavo even made a slideshow of the ceremony pictures to show at our reception, and we were so happy that he was able to share those with our guests. We are so happy with the way the pictures came out, and absolutely loved working with his team.

We chose Liz after our jeweler recommended her. Her shop was close to home, so we decided to make an appointment with her. She made us feel like we were family, and could not have been sweeter. We talked about our vision for the flowers, and she turned it into reality. She put together our centerpieces and bouquets with such detail and care, and even drove the hour drive to deliver them herself. She made sure we had the perfect flowers to compliment our day.

DJ: CNT Entertainment

We chose CNT after meeting the team at a vendor show at our venue. Everyone was so friendly, and willing to listen to exactly what we wanted. Carlos listened to each specific request we had, and made sure that our guests were up and dancing! He even made sure to play my favorite songs. They also provided our photo booth, and that was a huge hit with everyone.

Dress: Julie Allen Bridals

I chose Julie Allen after a Google search brought me to their website. I had been pressured into purchasing a different dress at a bridal shop in New Jersey a few months earlier. Every time I looked at pictures of the dress, my heart sank because it wasn’t what I had dreamed of. After four months of regret, my sister convinced me that I should try to find my dream dress. I was discouraged because of my previous experience, but I decided to give Julie Allen a try. I told them my situation, and that we only had about 7 months until my wedding. They were fantastic about listening to what I wanted, and what I didn’t like about my first dress. I walked out after my appointment with my absolute dream dress. The staff was incredibly helpful and understanding, and made sure I never felt pressured. I ended up finding my veil and flower girl dress there as well, and was about to feel like a true princess on my wedding day.

Venue: The Waterview

We knew that The Waterview was our venue before we even finished our first tour. I came across the venue after my location search crossed the New York border into CT. The location was absolutely gorgeous, and it the distance was doable for our guests. I originally wanted to get married inside, but the West garden at the Waterview changed my mind. It looked like an absolute fairytale. The staff was fantastic as well. Colin was our coordinator, and he fielded all of my questions with ease. It was such a huge comfort knowing that he was essentially “running” the day. The bridal attendants Christina and Joe were my lifesavers and did an absolutely fantastic job of helping me throughout the day. Our guests gave us so many compliments about the delicious food and scenic views, and we could not have been happier with our choice of venue.

Hair & Makeup: KiSSandMaKeUp

I found Kiss and Makeup on Instagram and was amazed by their work! Pam was a pleasure to work with, and was always available for questions! She helped me to schedule my trial, and to plan our wedding day schedule. When I met Kellie and Liz, they were absolutely amazing right away. They listened as I explained how I wanted to look on my big day, and perfectly achieved what I wanted. I walked out of my trial with such confidence knowing that they’d help me look my best on our wedding day. On the actual day of, Kellie and Liz worked their magic again. My bridesmaids and I all felt amazing, and they looked stunning!!!
