Meet our fearless leader, Pam! Pam is the founder and lead makeup artist at KiSSandMaKeUp, and has been doing makeup for over 15 years.

• She has the cutest little Yorkie named Bella

• Pam didn’t know she was 50% Irish until a few years ago, but just looking at her it’s kinda obvious.
• Music is very important to Pam. Whether it’s at your trial, or at home answering emails, there’s always music playing in the background.

Pamela has had artistic talent since before she could even walk. Her whole life she knew that she would make something out of her creativity and artistic abilities! Out of high school, Pam joined the Navy and served our country for six years. She attributes her discipline, time management skills, and attention to detail to her time spent serving in the Navy. After a six month deployment and being away from her daughter who was one year old at the time, she knew her responsibilities as a mother came first. It was then she received an honorable discharge, and decided to get a degree in Sonography and become an Ultrasound Tech. She was an ultrasound for 10 years and still works per diem at Hartford Hospital. She was promoted to the Breast Imaging Coordinator for Radiology. She loves this role because she loves to coordinate care and she feels like she is really making a difference in women’s lives.

In a true “everything happens for a reason” moment, Pam found her passion while putting herself through college. She began working behind the makeup counter which allowed her to express those creative abilities she had since birth in a way she truly loved. Not only did she love the transformation of makeup, but she also loved meeting new people and learning their stories. The rest is history! Working behind the counter allowed her to find her passion and hone her craft, all while paying for school.

Pam’s passion is makeup and business. She continues to refine her skills by attending seminars, taking classes and keeping herself educated on the latest trends. She has participated in Kett Airbrush 1 & 2 courses which have sharpened her skills for bridal airbrush makeup and tattoo coverup. She also recently completed a course with Danessa Myricks. She keeps her makeup kit stocked with all the best brands, including MAC, NARS, Bobbi Brown, Kett, Make Up For Ever, and much, much more. Her work has been featured on NBC Connecticut, and in bridal blogs like Reverie Gallery, Connecticut Bride, Style My Bridal, and The Westchester Wedding Planner just to name a few.

When Pamela isn’t working at the hospital or doing a bride’s makeup, she is spending time with her daughter and husband. Whether it’s softball or volleyball practice or games, Pam loves to be there! She also loves to paint, which she also does with her daughter. Acrylics are her favorite medium. In the summer she loves cookouts with family and friends by the pool. She also loves visiting the beach, toes in the sand and the sound of the waves rolling in is her happy place. She recently has been loving to travel and can not wait to visit different places.

Between her natural born artistic abilities and the traits she developed in the Navy, Pam is equal parts creative and business minded. As the owner of KiSSandMaKeUp, she respects your time, and your budget, while also promising to make your makeup application a positive and exciting experience. Doesn’t get much better than that!
