Bring all your questions about first steps after becoming engaged, how to handle rescheduling a wedding, and how to plan a wedding during the current pandemic. EDIT: Due to the current situations happening with the protesting and Black Lives Matter movement we will be postponing this blog until later in the month.
As a Gemini, I love to stay busy and fuel my creativity. I find the beauty is in the details when organizing an event or writing an article. I have been involved in the beauty and wedding industries for the past five years and continue to learn and research new ideas to provide the best perspective for every client. I have been a wedding planner for almost four years. Staying on top of trends and anything related to weddings just comes naturally!
My true passion is creative writing and poetry. I typically spend my weekends with my two adorable dogs, or finding a concert, art show, or new adventure. As long as I can remember, I’ve had a notebook in my hand and love to explore the world through words and creativity. I love cooking, movies, glitter, shoes, and cupcakes. I’m a firm believer in positivity creating opportunity and making the most of life.
My passion for writing started way back in High School. I graduated from SUNY Purchase in New York in 2012 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing and Minor in Literature. I have been a freelance writer for the past 10 years, having had the opportunity to be published in Westchester Magazine and several websites in the wedding industry. With a deep-rooted love of fashion, makeup, costumes, and crafting, the wedding industry was the perfect fit for me when I entered into a marketing position for a beauty company in 2015. I immersed myself in all things hair and makeup to learn every trick and detail, even attending a professional makeup course and booking a couple of my own clients! I recently completed a graduate program at University of Hartford with a Paralegal Studies certificate, which helped me start a career event planning for a multi-state law firm in their marketing department. I balance my creative passion of wedding planning with legal seminar planning, which is all a Gemini could ever ask for!
