Staying busy while being stuck at home during the COVID-19 pandemic these past few months has been so important! Joyce Johnston started her own side hustle called Keeping Up with Krafting. She now passes her time creating unique (and hilarious) crafts like t-shirts, tote bags, and hats that she could share and sell to her friends and family.

We chatted with Joyce about her business and what inspires her as she creates her custom designs!

What is your favorite part of your business?

The creativity I have comes out in all of the items I create! I love graphic tees, totes, and funny wine glasses. I love being able to create fun gifts and items for people!

What is your advice to anyone else looking to start a business?

My best advice is to just go after your dreams! If you are passionate about something, don’t be afraid. Go for it.

What is your overall goal/mission for Keeping Up with Krafting?

My overall goal is to create fun, creative, and unique gifts to make people happy!

How do you hope to inspire others?
Being a mom of three while juggling a career and a creative side business has been such an amazing experience. I hope that my experience inspires others to follow their dreams and that their spouse/family inspires them to achieve their dreams!
