Meet hairstylist, Abbe!

My name is Abbe and I was born and raised in New York. I am currently living in Glastonbury, CT with my husband, two daughters, and two dogs. Since graduating from college, I pursued a teaching career but always had a passion for the hair and beauty industry. Even as a teenager, I worked for my brother-in-law in his upscale salon in Huntington, NY. It wasn’t until later in life that I decided to reinvent myself and chase my dream.

After several years of helping out friends with my “blowout concierge service,” and at the urging of friends and family, I decided to make a formal career change and entered cosmetology school. 

1500 hours and many heads later, I am a licensed stylist who is passionate, dedicated and punctual. I truly enjoy taking continuing education classes to enhance my skills and learn about the most current products, trends, and tools.

The bridal and prom industries are also a passion of mine. I have received training from some of the best in the business:  Nadine Donavan, Mustafa, Glam by Torie Bliss, Jenny Strebe of Confessions of a Hairstylist, and Styles by Rene. I have also participated in online classes with Heather Chapman and Britt Seva.

Seeing huge smiles on my clients faces, from the youngest to the oldest, is the most rewarding part of my job! I love connecting with people and my goal is to make everyone who sits in my chair feel fabulous.
