New season, new trends! We love the transition into Autumn hair and makeup trends as we enter September. The influence of Summer still lingers and paves the way for extra layers and smoldering looks. What are we looking forward to for Fall hair and makeup trends this season?

Glittered Accents

Summer festivals have us still shaking glitter out of our hair. This Fall, we will be seeing a lot of refined accents with the use of glitter. Our artists are already incorporating detailed and sophisticated touches of glitter in their looks. We love how Katie used absolute precision in applying a line of glitter above a smoked-out wing for her client pictured above. How do you plan to use glitter in your looks this Fall? Carefree Up-dos

Braids were a staple in summer out of absolute necessity. Now, we can look to braids as an Autumn trend to accent and add volume to loose, carefree hairstyles. Shake out your bun and pull out some front pieces. Throw a little glitter in there while you’re at it! We are all about full, bouncy styles with details like the double braid Kellie created in the client pictured above. Now just throw a big scarf on and you will be ready for Fall!

Iridescent Everything

The evolution of iridescent makeup is inspiring. Shadows and highlighters have come such a long way since launching from nearly every major makeup brand in recent years. Multifaceted hues that compliment every skin tone line the shelves. Whether you are a newbie to these shimmers or like to leave your house looking like a disco ball, the ethereal pigments are going to shine this season. The golden and peach shades that complimented our tan are taking a back seat for pearlescent and rose gold accents. It’s all about accenting your features with shimmering hues! Just look how Ashley M. used an iridescent rose gold on this beautiful bride’s eyes above!
